Vodka sauce recipe

ingredients

  • ​1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 finely diced onion

  • 130g tomato paste

  • 1.5 tsp chilli flakes

  • 50ml vodka

  • 600ml cream

  • 30ml boiling water

  • 100g parmesan

method

  1. Add olive oil to a pan on high heat and throw in your diced onion

  2. After 2 minutes, add tomato paste and mix through for another 2 minutes

  3. At this stage, go and boil the kettle as you’ll need to boiling water shortly.

  4. Add chilli flakes and mix through

  5. Pour in the vodka and stir for 1–2 minutes

  6. Take the pan off the heat, add boiling water to your cream before you add it to the pan, then slowly pour it in

  7. Put back on low heat and stir through your parmesan

  8. Once melted through, take it off the heat

  9. Spread on your pizza, I recommend with hot pickle sauce or use as a dipping sauce for your crust
